1.1 By using this website you agree to be bound by the site terms and conditions of use and you acknowledge that your use of this Site is subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of use.
1.2 These terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with us (in-store, over the phone or by email) as well as online bookings you make on our website or on our related sites offering our products. We will rely on the authority of the person making the booking to act on behalf of any other traveller on the booking and that person will bind all such travellers to these terms and conditions.
2.1 Please note that every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information on this website, however, we do not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions.
2.2 We strongly recommend that you contact us before making a booking if you have any further questions regarding the products for sale on the website, as cancellation fees apply in all circumstances.
3.1 Your travel has been booked by Redcliffe Cruise & Travel in partnership with Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (“us” or “we”), on the basis of the following terms and conditions.
3.2 The ticket(s) (“voucher(s)”) you have purchased have been booked by us on your behalf with various Service Providers. Each Service Provider may have their own terms & conditions applying to your travel. We can provide you with more information about the service providers on request. Complete service provider information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Voucher(s).
3.3 By proceeding with your booking, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of any Service Provider who provides any product in relation to your travel.
Some group bookings will require you to be bound by the Service Provider’s additional conditions which will mean you will be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the additional conditions. RCT may impose additional special conditions on a case by case basis which will detail additional terms including but not limited to deposits, payment schedules, cancellation policies, rooming lists, release back policies and amendments (“Group Booking Agreement”).
5.1 Please make sure before you book flights or any form of transport that your tours are confirmed by us and you have received your vouchers. Please note all tours are subject to availability and we do not hold any responsibility for third party travel that you may have already booked with other websites or travel agencies. The travel products offered on this website are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice by a Service Provider.
5.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that all details of the booking are correct before proceeding.
5.3 All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and is inclusive of goods and services tax (GST). Payments processed in foreign currency (currency other than the original card holders country of issue), may incur a currency conversion fee. Please refer to your financial institution for applicable fees.
6.1 Some of the products on the website offers live availability, if we ask for your credit card details at the time of booking please note that you will be making an instant purchase and your credit card will be debited upon completion of the online booking process. Your booking is guaranteed once you receive a confirmation email that will include your vouchers from us and online payment receipt from our preferred secured payment gateway i.e. eWay or Stipe, with Redcliffe Cruise and Travel (RCT) branding.
6.2 Please note: a surcharge fee of 3% applies for any online bookings and is non-refundable.
7.1 All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or amended without notice. The price is only guaranteed once payment in full has been received by us. Prices from any Service Provider are also subject to change in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable Service Provider. Prices from Service Providers will only be guaranteed upon payment in full by you.
7.2 Any additional costs and charges imposed by the Service Provider will be passed onto you and included in our price.
7.3 All prices are inclusive of any GST or other value added taxes where applicable.
8.1 When making a booking on this site, you must have a valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the date of return. When assisting with international travel we will assume that you have a valid passport. You must let us know if you do not have a valid passport.
8.2 It is your responsibility to arrange any necessary visas and re-entry permits. We can assist you with obtaining any visa or re-entry permit however you must give us a minimum of four weeks’ notice if you require our assistance to allow us to obtain the visa in time.
8.3 Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of not obtaining the necessary visas or the documentation not meeting the requirements of the relevant authorities is your responsibility.
8.4 Australian passport holders will not be permitted entry into the United States or Canada without a valid ESTA or visa. Please note that you may not meet the eligibility requirements of ESTA and you may require a visa. Please contact us if you require additional information regarding visas.
9.1 If the product you have selected does not offer live availability a booking request will be generated to the Redcliffe Cruise & Travel team who will notify you of confirmation as soon as the Service Provider has confirmed. We will aim to respond to your booking within 24-48 hours by email. However, in some instances (for example during long weekends or public holidays) the response time may vary.
9.2 We will then email a secure payment link which will include a 3% online surcharge fee and you must pay the outstanding amount in full. Once the online payment has been received we will complete the booking and email you a copy of your travel vouchers.
9.3 Please keep your vouchers in a safe place until travel as you must provide a copy of these in exchange for your tour or accommodation. If you lose your vouchers and require another copy there will be a AUD$25 Administration Fee per voucher.
In some circumstances you will be required to pay a deposit or deposits when booking. We will advise you of how much that will be. All deposits are non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellations by you (subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law). Final payment is required when requested by us unless otherwise stated.
11.1 Any online or telephone bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payment may be made by way of Credit Card or Debit Card and surcharges of 1.3% will be imposed. We accept the following payment methods:
11.2 You authorise us to charge all surcharge fees incurred and all fees incurred by you to the debit card or credit card provided by you. If payment is not received from the card issuer or its agents for any reason, you agree to pay us the amount immediately upon demand.
12. Our Booking Cancellation Fees and Change Fees
12.1 You must contact us to cancel your booking.
12.2 Cancellation Fees: any cancellations made after the booking confirmation will incur a 50% fee and any surcharges are non-refundable.
12.3 Cancellations within 3 days of the departure date incurs a 100% fee.
12.4 If you would like to cancel your trip within three days prior to departure please contact the operator directly. You will find their contact number at the top of the page on your travel vouchers.
12.5 If you cancel or amend your booking after we have confirmed or fail to arrive on the nominated day, we will charge you the fees outlined in the specific product conditions.
12.6 If you cancel your travel you must pay us a fee of 50% of the value of the travel that was booked on your behalf and cancelled (“Cancellation Fee”).
12.7 The Cancellation Fee will apply in all cases where a tour is able to run. For example, if you are unable to reach a tour due to an “act of God” (for example a road is cut off due to flooding) the normal Cancellation Fee will apply if the tour still runs in your absence. If a tour or other travel service is cancelled by the Service Provider, we will refund you the amount paid for the tour or other travel service less a 10% administration fee.
12.8 Refunds are not available on unused portions of tour packages.
12.9 Please allow at least seven days for processing a refund.
13. Service Provider Cancellation Fees and Change Fees
13.1 Service Providers may also impose cancellation fees or change fees which may be up to 100% of the cost of booking, regardless of whether travel has occurred. If we incur a Service Provider cancellation fee or change fee you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee and agree to pay the amount of the fee to us.
13.2 If you seek a refund from a Service Provider, we will not pay any refund to you until we have been paid the refund by the Service Provider.
14.1 Open dated tickets or Gift Vouchers: You must book your travel dates in advance with the individual Service Provider as per details provided on your voucher.
14.2 Tickets booked with confirmed booking date/s: It is your responsibility to ensure you redeem your tickets on the dates booked.
14.3 You must reconfirm all booked dates 48 hours prior to travel (minimum guide only) or in the manner stated on your voucher. If applicable, dietary requirements should also be confirmed at this time.
Failure of us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions or any terms in a Group Booking Agreement shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any of the rights and obligations we have under these Terms and Conditions.
16.1 If you need to cancel (please refer below to Booking Cancellations) or amend your booking, please notify us immediately by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, booking number, tour name and confirmed date of travel.
16.2 Bookings can only be amended more than 7 days prior to commencement of travel and are subject to availability. Each amendment (not cancellation) after confirmation will incur an Administration Fee of AUD$25 per person, in addition to any fees imposed by the tour operator.
16.3 If we change any part of your booking for reasons out of our control, for example, if a Service Provider changes its schedules, overbooks, or if there are any changes in applicable surcharges, fees or taxes, we will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you. If any such changes result in your booking costing more or otherwise being materially different, then you may cancel your booking and we will refund any monies already paid less any fees charged by us under these Terms and Conditions and by a Service Provider under the terms you agreed with them.
We strongly advise that you purchase adequate travel insurance to safeguard against any losses for both domestic and international travel. We can provide information to you about travel insurance should you require it. It is your personal responsibility to purchase your own travel insurance to cover any liability which may be incurred to you, us or a Service Provider. We are not responsible for any failure by you to acquire adequate insurance cover.
18.1 We act as an agent only for the persons providing such other services and upon the condition that we shall not be liable for any accidents, loss, death, injury, delay or damage caused by or arising out of the provision of or failure to provide any other such service.
18.2 We will be under no obligation to any person as a result of any inaccuracy or misdescription to provide any services set out herein.
You warrant to us that:
(i) You are at least 18 years old and have the power and authority to enter into a binding contract with us and with any third party provider that you acquire; and
(ii) The information you provide us about yourself is true, accurate, current and complete; and
(iii) You will maintain and update the information to ensure it is always true, accurate and complete.
Local payments such as levies and National Park fees are set by our suppliers and may change or differ from what is written on the product page. We endeavour to keep these up to date but in the rare circumstance a levy has changed in price by the time you depart on your trip it is still your responsibility to pay the levy in full. However, you must also check with each individual Service Provider when you reconfirm your ticket.
21.1 To the extent permitted by law we will not be liable to you whether in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including indirect and consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise, either by us or by any Service Provider, in connection with:
(i) The use of, or the inability to, use this website or any linked website;
(ii) Disruption to this website; or
(iii) The provision of products by any Service Provider.
21.2 Our liability will also be limited to the extent that any relevant international conventions limit the amount of compensation that can be claimed by you.
21.3 These terms and conditions are not intended to exclude or restrict the application of any consumer guarantees applicable under Australian law (including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
21.4 We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of incorrect information given to Service Providers, the incorrect entry of a traveller’s name to any Service Provider or as a result of any Service Provider policies.
21.5 We are not liable to you in any way for any breach of any obligations a Service Provider may have to you for the provision of any Service Provider product. The relevant Service Provider will be liable to you for any breach of its obligations to you.
21.6 We will not be liable or responsible if any e-ticket issued by a Service Provider does not arrive to your email due to an incorrect email address being supplied or your junk email settings. You must notify us immediately of any change to your email address or contact number in accordance with clause 14 and 17(iii) above.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
“RCT” or “us” or “we” means Shane Newcombe as trustee for the Shane Newcombe Trust trading as Redcliffe Cruise and Travel ABN 81 121 648 238 and its subsidiaries and related bodies corporate.
“Site/s” means the RCT websites available to you and providing a facility to enter other websites to enter into transactions with third party Service Providers, whose details and products and services appear on the RCT websites.
“Service Provider” means another provider of travel services and products that is not RCT.
“Terms and Conditions” means these Booking Terms and Conditions and any amended Booking Terms and Conditions for RCT from time to time.
“You” means any customer that purchases or makes an enquiry to purchase any of the services or products provided by RCT.

As popular as do-it-yourself travel is and as savvy as we are with all things online, there are some aspects of travel that are much better dealt with through a travel agency and someone who really knows what they are doing. Its good to work through someone who knows what they are doing and who take as much interest in you having a great holiday as you do!!
